Feasibility study of a shrimp-feed production unit with a capacity of 40,000 MT/year. In this project, the production of raw materials such as fish-meal, other marine meals, soya and wheat are included.
VDS-Crustocean supplies Malagasy shrimp farms since 1998 with shrimp-feed produced in Seychelles. But from 2003 onwards, on 9 November 2003, a cooperation agreement was signed between VDS-Crustocean and TIKO for the production of shrimp- feeds in Madagascar.
The main feed line was P.monodon feed for semi-intensive conditions, including a low temperature feed and a low salinity feed for the winter and rainy seasons respectively.
